Rescues
i think pilots should have a knife, mp5k/mk5k/m9, flare gun, one-time use med pack, and parachute. I think that there should be cargo planes like the hercules that can drop a rescue kit that has one of thsoe rescue devices where you put on a harness that is attached to a small blimp and pull a chord to inflate the blimp, the rescue plane then circles around and snags you off the ground wit ha v-shaped device on the front and can then real you in. The rescue kit could be considered a vehicle that opens on landing, you then hit 'e' to get in harness and press fire to deploy blimp, you could even have smoke on it. Then the pilot picks you up and hit secondary hits his second weapon to reel you in where you hit 'e' and are in hte cargo plane but if you do this befroe it is in all the way you will die because i think chutes you should be one-time use only.

ahh hell yeah! im well up for that'
. say the pilot has a radio that he can use once hes on the ground(all US f16 pilots carry radios) and he can call in a herculees to come rescue him. i just hope they can animate that.

i think i was considered a flop because it was never used i na rescue but it worked and the army had it as a rescue platform in the 70's or 80's i think and it had a small blimp about 3 feet ling with strong chord on it that attached to a harness, you pull a lever on the balloon/blimp and it inflates like some rafts on planes do and pulls the line toght and then the plane see the bright orange blimp and flies into it with a v-shaped hook on the front. If anyone can get me a name or picture of this it would help because i forgot. ill make a pic

it was and sometimes is used for rescues in trees and such for down pilots when landing a helo would be risky. They had it on mail call and they said it didn't actually hurt and they trained people to use them. The plane is going a few hundred MPH but the rope is called, by those who climb like me, dynamic rope and has stretch in it, the length it would be would allow for enough stretch and when they showed it on mail call they said it didn't hurt.

hehehe, as crazy as it sounds it looks like it works. There are easier ways though, say call in a black hawk or something like that but thats just not as fun sounding. As long as its realistic im all for it

If a pilot in standing in a forest where a black hawk can't reach him, what could happen if this plane grabbed his balloon-rope? Hmm?
He would smash into every tree in the damn forest! not a pretty sight.
In situations like that, the pilot is told to reach a safe area on his own, that is open enough to allow landing for a helicopter.

it was used by the CIA to steal russian spy documents, it has many uses because while this plane is doing his armor moving he can fly by drop the pack then circle around pick the pilot up. It is faster than a hawk and might not draw as much attention as this plane flying around and dropping things is common. But i understand your argument, one could also say "why have a dpv when you have a hummer?" i think it would give a new dynamic and be something that NO mod has.
