im sorry super6, i think this skyhook thing is a really not good idea to be honest, i mean, im glad you are looking into different things, but its not really for the PR mod i believe, its far too complicated, when you can have a black hawk, or if its a harder to reach spot a little bird come in and rescue the guy no problem.

ok, i give up on the skyhook that in turn we consider this helo rescue thing using rops as this, i feel, would be a happy medium between the 2 if it is possible. I am aware that fighter pilots would carry a pistol only the larger guns is a reference to hte rangers in BHD who carried what was either an hk5k mk5k.

The Fulton Surface-To-Air Recovery System was retired in 1996. Amazingly, there was only one fatality in the 30 years of the employment of the system.

SPIE or rescue hoist extractions I'm not sure how possible they are in the engine. Maybe if the airlift feature from BF:V had been ported over it would be easier, but it seems like it would be pretty difficult to implement.

The pilots depicted in the movie were from the US Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) and some of them did carry MP5Ks at the time. Nowadays for rotary wing crews, you may see the pilots and crew with M4s; it used to be that the pilots would have sidearms and one or two of the crewman had an M16. At one time, aviators were only issued .38 caliber revolvers.

thanks for clearing it all up, so, if it is possible it would be nice to see some sort of hoist rescue device liek from a helo or something of that nature and I am aware that the mp5 series is an aging gun class not sued as much as m4's even in law enforcement. It would be nice to see a super-fast firing mp5k somewhere but realism in mind m4's are more of a middle gun decent at range and close up and it would make sense that they are used by helo crews. Now if later in development you guys think that having a hoist rescue system liek the one depicted i nthe helo pictures let us know because i think that if it can get implemented their be some that would use the helo hoist.

How about we just make the pilot run his sorry *** out of the battlefield. It would certainly make him look more badass.,
