But the best part is, Im trying to survive with 0 deaths. When you have some aim to live for, it makes this game more exciting. I live for 0 deaths!
That's cool I hope more people will have that aim(including me)
Sorry for my English

I enjoy being commander ...Especially when the squad leaders follow orders.

...Apparently we aren't that many who voted for the commander option...

there are probably some reasons for that, cause i really think there are more players out there who would like to enjoy it too.

...

note:

I also enjoy being a squad leader, a tank gunner and a squad member. It all depends on the team im playing.

Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.

I really enjoy commander as well. Problem is "most of the time", the squad leaders don't necessarily fully get into it with you, and only barely pay attention to you (if at all). Other times though, with good VOIP SL's playing along and following orders on the fly and strategically understanding you it's just awesome! Other team doesn't stand a chance! :)

Usually i tend to be the cranky and dominative squad leader in VOIP squads with my own "great" ideas, and way too little space for tactical improvisation by subordinates. ;) (Meaning I hate when my teammembers begin soloing.)

I try to be in contact with the commander, maybe more than they want me to be. Always forward observing arty when possible.

I enjoy piloting transport helis(preferably the LB) to get troops to and from the frontline. The armed choppers are fun too.
If there are no choppers availible I'll join a squad or occasionally grab a tank or APC.

I don't like to say this but I hate being a medic... lol....
I used to like it a while ago, but now I think I got some kind of prejudice for that class, mostly because of the magic-healing bag or shock paddles you know...
Not that I will ask "PLEASE DON'T REVIVE ME" just because I don't think it's realistic hehhe

Despite that... something I really enjoy is using classes that have a binnocular. It's just awesome to watch the enemy without him knowing you're there.

I enjoy being squad leader and thinking what to do next, but there are also times, when I don't feel like leading, especially when my squad mates only want to attack. So I guess my answer is the thin line between being a squad leader and a thinking squad member :-D

Other (Please Specify Below).

-Usually trying to make a defense perimeter around our last flag as sadly in lots of games everyone keeps pushing out just to loose our flag at that crucial moment.
- Going behind enemy lines as engineer and destroying/booby trapping their assets Pretty much anything that can slow down their reinforcements of the front line.

Otherwise playing in squads as a medic and keeping everyone alive.

Got to be leading, nothing like having absolute power over players, ordering them to do dangerous things and telling them they will probaly die!

Although making alot fo noise with a SAW gun is always fun, dont hit much fast 10m but got to love the colours and the sound.....heheeeee

Short answer: whatever the squad needs and, on occasion, reluctant squadleader (only when the need arises or if I see a lot of people left out of squads.)

My favorite role is being armor. I'm usally in a Abrams. It's an awesome feeling giving support in a tank. I'm usally the tank gunner when I'm in tanks and I'm usally commanding my driver where i want to go and where i want to stop. Being armor is fun.

Heavy At and blowing tanks away is my favourite...
I´d love to see the faces of those tank-whores when my AT blows away their steel-coffin :D

Usually being squadleader, as the heavy AT class shouldn`t go melee anyway. So I be spawn and tank-killer. IMO the best combination ;)

When I play with madstudfarm and his [PRw] buddies, I probably lone wolf more than I should. But that's just because they're such small maps, usually with so few players. So I like to sneak around and harass the **** out of them with hit and run tactics

Speaking of PRw, I got kicked (admin decision) for saying (on a 1 on 1 game) in the course of a global chat convo, "yeah, there's been some shitty TKing players coming to PR lately", after someone got kicked for going on a TK binge. What's up with that dude?

I usually end up squad leader and allow myself to be used as a mobile spawn, I hate it when my squad spawn on me then go prone at the side of me and start doing a Rambo impression revealing my position. :(

Just spawn on me and F'off!

i like being the "bodiguard" of the squad leader. so i am the soldier, who is responsible for the squadleaders life and if he is wounded, i'll heal him, if he's dead, i'll use the defibrator... if he's eliminated, i'll take revenge on him.

I do any, and all roles, depending on what is needed at the time. I don't specialise in any one area, but try to be what is needed most at the time.
