Project Reality v0.5 Media Update

Over the past couple of weeks we have been working in high gear finishing up the last few tweaks and bug fixes on PR v0.5. What initially started out as a patch for PR v0.4 has evolved into one of our most feature-rich releases to date. There are some significant changes to how Project Reality and Battlefield 2 are played in v0.5, so we should be updating our player guide with details over the next few days in advance of the final release. Simply put, be prepared for v0.5 to blow your mind!

We currently have a v0.5 release candidate in testing and if everything goes well, we plan to release Project Reality v0.5 next week. If we happen to run into any show stoppers, we will post another update on tentative release dates.

Also, Project Reality has also been invited to join DJ Novicaine and DJ Xeon this coming Friday Night (1/24/07) at 11:45pm eastern on HTGN’s 'The Wrath!' radio for an exclusive interview! Make sure you tune in to have a chance to ask members from the Project Reality Dev Team questions and listen to DJ Novicaine and DJ Xeon blaze some jams while fraggin’ out on your favorite Project Reality server. HTGN Brings You HTGN Radio 'The Wrath!', Launch Party, Project Reality & More!

Within the realm of online competitive eSport's gaming there has been league competition sites come and go; in just over a year the Hostile Tactics Gaming Network has proven that it is here to stay. With the upcoming release of a custom coded competition management system and Anti-Cheat software (Game Guardian®), HTGN has unveiled the first in its line of sub-divisions to the Hostile Tactics Gaming Network; HTGN Radio 'The Wrath!' located at www.wrathradio.com.

HTGN Radio 'The Wrath!' would like to welcome everyone to our grand opening launch party which will take place on Friday, January 26th, 2007 starting at 9pm est (-5 gmt). All listeners who are tuned in will be eligible to compete in several giveaway and random listener contests which will occur on the HTGN Ventrilo comm's (HTGN.clanwarz.net:3852) and IRC channel (#HTGN on irc.gamesurge.net). Contestants will be competing for approximately $3,000 USD worth of pc and gaming products including surround sound pc stereo systems, gaming mice and keyboards from Logitech; gaming keyboards and custom BF2, CoD2 & CS:S keysets from Zboard; top of the line pc gaming headsets from SteelSeries and computer cases from Silverstone to name a few.

Amongst all of the giveaway and random listener contests will be interviews with the developers of one of the greatest Battlefield 2 modifications to date ... Project Reality. Developers will be live on air with The Wrath's DJ Novicaine and Xeon discussing Project Reality in a whole. Everything from the basic concept, to start on development, till the first original launch. And of course the question on everyone's mind, when the new 0.5 update will be released, and what features we can expect in it. Xeon and Novicane will also let the dedicated fans of Project Reality ask the developers some general questions on air in regards to the MOD.

Along with all of the hype of the grand opening launch party will also be the opening of team registrations for America's Army, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2

roject Reality, Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 2, Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike Source, Day of Defeat Source and Warcraft 3: DoTA North American and European League Divisions on HTGN. All league divisions will start there next season of competitive matching on HTGN with an all new custom coded competition management system, Anti-Cheat software and a whole new lineup for prize package payout's beginning in early February 2007.

I know you usually spread the words in other forums, but you usually miss us out .

If you remember when blueyonder used to have a load of public gameservers and forums it's the community from there, we moved to a place called trickery , when blueyonder.gaming pulled the plug on themselves lol.
you are welcome to post in the battlefield forum, I am a Moderator for it and at least one of the other Mods and most people who post there play PRMM or at least have played it.

Never seen that chopper before, looks really good. Doesn't have any guns though, not even useless GPMG's, what will we do whilst being transported, now we can't look at the shiny tracers as we spam the guns
