There was a battle in Afghanistan called the battle for Robert's Ridge in which a US Navy SEAL chinock helo went down. What about having this as a map called robert's ridge? here are some links http://www.pjsinnam.com/War_on_Terror/C ... hapman.htm

that is the show i watched it one, very good. For the one is US $ go to the discovery channel store i guess.

yea ths was a part of Operation Anaconda, i had wanted to make a map for POE and i think ill try and make something about it for BF2 if i can learn to make maps, im rereading Generation Kill lately and thinking i might try and make maps based on some of the battles from that book as well, again only if i can learn how to use the damm mdk

this is also exactly why i would like to see the mod stick with the Iraq/Afghan conflicts, make it like a DC but for the present day conflicts and stick with the Real places and Real battles that actually happened

would anyone else like to see this map? either A you have the helo as a mobile spawn or have sqd ldrs in it until it gets blown up and then there si an enemy machine gun sandbag foxhole with many people and you can't have a sniepr kit.

if anyone has a particular battle they saw or possibly were in and you have maps or pictures of hte area lets see if the mappers will do some real maps
