Self Replicating Ammo?

Post by Bob_Marley »

I've noticed that a rifleman can reload his ammo bags from a dropped ammo bag without fully depleting it, allowing him to resupply his team mates, stand on an ammo bag for a bit, and then put down more ammo, and repeat the process ad infinintum.

I couldnt see this posted before, but I cant believe that noone found this yet...
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

No, I think it's intentional.

When a soldier reloads his ammo at a ammo bag he tosses the half empty mags he had into it. The rifleman then consolidates all the ammo that was returned to the bag and from this he fills up another bag.

This is the secret of the rifleman. You would think eventually he would have only two bags, then one bag and then no bags left but he actually picks up all the ammo from kits he walks past as he is on the move if he is certain the kit owner will not be revived.

not intentional.. engine limitation that there is no longer different "types" of ammo.

gonna try more experimentation at other ways around it, but using the old BF '42 ammo type properties is no longer possible.

it's the same reason an ammo bag carries RPG rounds :(

Oh God... saw the title and thought the ammo clips had been breeding...

You didn't know that dude? Shit, how do you think we spam nades endlessly on 64 player EJOD?

I think it's fine. If you're with your squad, you want to drop all three bags so you can reload them faster.

IF it's in the game I think you should use it.
I smoke spam all the time with the rifleman and maybe chuck a few nades for good measure as well.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.
