We've all debated the fuel problem for a vrey long time, and are still not decided. but its just, if we want to be realistic, something like an F-35 carrys at least 40 minutes of fuel, or about 12 minutes of afterburner fuel, implementing something that takes that long to run out is kinda pointless, barely anyone could keep afterburners on for 12 minutes, and not many people stay in the sky for 40 minutes, infact, most rounds dont last 40 minutes
Best thing to stop the baseraping is probably; slower resupply of ammo and that you actually have to land and stand still before it resupplies.
And slower respawn times might also help.

how about bullet holes in fences when we shoot through them? trees that don't just sit there then you ram into them at mach 1 and a generally more interactive environment? the gunner in the tank needs to die when you shoot him! he is invincible i have put many sniper rounds into him that register as hitting the tank

yeah, most of the time all the small vehicles(DPV, FAV, Etc.) have some sort of invisible armor, I've put over 50 M249 LMG rounds in FAV's that are fully loaded, and dont even get one kill. Never really had a problem taking out Tank Gunners tough, usaully 1 M24 round to the head will drop him, or a 5-10 or so in him with other weapons depending on where u hit him.
