well then i suppose they should be considered for the mod. Napalm was one of the funest things on BFV, but if it was put in it couldnt be as common as that. maybe it could be put in maps that have dense jungle or heavy urban to clear bases and snipers and so on.

I'd like to see the time between a vehicle falling into the water and blowing up extended so people have more time to swim away without dying.

Different types of body armour.

The usual 30-some-odd-pound **** flak vests, the new "Interceptor" armor and the even newer one, whose name I do not know.. I'd like to see some clever execution of body armor, like on certain maps the kits have one type, other maps they have another type, so on and so forth. The new type which protects the limbs would be great for Urban maps while more open maps may not need it..
Here is the new body armor:

And of course just basic realism.. ATGMs should be able to blow up any tank in a single shot, the AT kits should get SMAW's and RPG-7's while things like the Eryx would be a spawnable kit, maybe one per side on any map.. "Hellfire" missiles should be laser-guided (simply locking onto enemy tanks) while 2nd-position bombs in the Bomber jets should be TV-guided. Etc, etc. You know, what's already been discussed 100+ times.

Since your goin to change physics anyway, can you make it so that dead bodies dont clip through each other? Or do they not already :? :

Here's what I'd like to see in a REALISM mod (being a former active duty Marine):

(FOR THE USMC SIDE)

-Rifleman Class (with an M16A2, One grenade or random one grenade, K-BAR)

-Squad Leader (Armed with M16A2/M203, one smoke, one grenade, K-BAR)

-Corpsman (which is what a medic is in the Marines... M16A2, or Beretta pistol, medpack)

-STA Sniper (These are your snipers in the Marines... also known as Scout Snipers... M-14 Rifle, NO claymores, no grenades, Beretta, NOT silenced)

-Javelin Gunner (These are now your anti-tank men... the Dragon is discontinued and they don't use a Predator. The Javelin should be issued with 3 rounds)

-Combat Engineer (C-4, Mines and Claymores)

-Force Reconnaissance (These are the Marines "Special Forces". Armed with an M-16A4, or M-4... and should have C-4, and Laser Designators)

I'd change the following:

-Get rid of the silenced weapons. The game bases itself on a MEU which doesn't have these weapons.

-Up the damages on all weapons to two shot max center kills. 7.62 weapons should be slightly stronger.

-Helicopters should be more sluggish, as should the tank turrets/AA turrets.

-Vehicles need to be FASTER. ie. The LAV should not get stuck going up a 45 degree angle. These vehicles can traverse terrain a LOT better than displayed in this game.

-UP the damages from rockets. ie. Cobra... 4 hits is TOO much for a small vehicle.

-Last but not least... PLEASE SOMEONE... get rid of the damn Blackhawks. Marines don't use Blackhawks... Seahawks, or "Sea Stallions" but NOT Blackhawks. The gaming and movie industry is WAY too Hollywood.

*Added Note* I'd also like to see flag captures from inside vehicles done away with. Someone mentioned repairing vehicles from inside and I also think that should be removed.

agree with that, but shouldnt the engineer have the claymores, not the sniper?

Engineers had the claymores, anti-personnel mines, and vehicle mines. Snipers are just being lazy. lol They should have a spotter anyway with them to watch each other.

To answer that Engineer question... Combat Engineers in an MSSG (MEU Service and Support Group) had an M16A2. Contrary to popular belief not all (not many at all) in the Marine Corps carried M16A4's (VERY few even had designated M-4's). That was the Army.

Engineers in this game should all be about blowing stuff up (they did build things as well but that's not really possible here). They should also be carrying C-4 in my opinion... but I still believe that Force Recon should also have a batch with them. Force Recon has a history of running black ops that we wont ever know about... but they were always well prepared. You're looking at kidnappings, assassinations, as well as combat recon missions (to include demolitions). I was responsible for inserting a team near Baghdad prior to U.S. forces reaching the city... it was errie watching them jump from the trucks while we covered them, and see them disappear into the sand. They were good at what they did though.

Would also be great to add in the Laser Designator... the Battlefield Experience mod has that implimented and it can carry a lot of great potential.

How many classes can the mod handle... because I did leave out Support... and Solodude hit the nail on the head calling him an Automatic Rifleman.

Any possible way to make some of these classes have selectable weapons? ie. For a Rifleman allow him to select between an M16A4 and an M16A2?

Oh hell... while I'm at it... I'd LOVE NOTHING MORE than to see the M240 G(Golf) added in. That is STANDARD for Machinegunners in line companies, and would be a spectacular addition to this game. You could then just add the M249 SAW to the Rifleman Class as selectable (if this is possible) and make it a "Rifleman/Auto-Rifleman" class.

Will the British faction replace another faction or just be added to make 4 factions total?

And will the claymore mine damage range be upped a WHOLE lot cuz i've heard that you could be killed or wished you were killed if your a football field away from the mine when it goes off? :?

I also hope to see the 240 added in some form. Even if it's just for static defense of some positions. Probably should have some M2's and KORD's placed around the maps too.

im pretty sure the british will be added as a totally new faction. as for swithing weapons, the unlockable weapons feature could be made so that they can just swap weapons instead of unlocking better ones.
