A F14 Tomcat/ "Bombcat" would be a welcome addition to PR. It can haul 6 phoenix missles and a varitety of bombs including JDAMs and GBU-12 bunker buster bombs. Along with phoenix missles. Not to mention the radar that can detect lots of targets (27?), I forget the exact amount. I know we could use the F/A 18 E/F instead

, but its so cool!

the Phoenix has been decommissioned since 2003/4 i think, so they dont use them no more.. quite a shame really.. The F-14s were known as Mig deterrents.. once a enemy gets lock on by the APG-9 radar it makes a distinct sound, unique to the F-14 radar, and the mig would just run away..

F-14 are slowly been decommissioned from the Navy

Great plane imo.

Yeah the phoenix and the F14 are being retired IRL t, but since did that mean anything to a game. Yes its a realism mod and F14s were used IRL so it could still be used. I don't want to only use the JSF or F22s, that would get boring. And this mod does/might/could take place over Iraq or Afganistan, when they were still being used.

F-14D would be a nice addition. Maybe even a concept Tomcat 21 with supercruise can be added as a easter egg.

Actualy... of all the planes listed the one that I'd think would be *needed* in PR(if the US Army/AF is added) would be the F16, the A-10 after that.

The F-14 has allready been rejected because they are drifting out of service.

Well so far the 'Factions' have 2 aircaft it seems. A single seater attack aircraft and a 2 seater bomber. The Brits have the harrier now which is the single seater attack aircraft. What about the Tornado GR-4 as the two seater plane? It has laser guided missiles (left out by dice) which could be utilised if PR put it in, which I hope they do!

it could be put in... hopefully the armarment (weapon and vehicle wise) of every army in the game will expand to become more realistic, or even shrink a bit (what marine has an mp5...?)

and laser designating is in the game, it'll just take some modding to get it out and working like it's supposed to. its hidden, like the m82 rifle and the civillian vehicles. like the flare gun in bfv. etc...
