Oh I figured out what you meant by the metalic look.. you're talking about the Specular Material where the reflections beat off of the MIG.
You can skin the speculars by adjusting the ALPHA channels in the skin's DDS... in photoshop where the layers tab is click on channels.. click on ALPHA and it will turn your image black and white.. whatever in that image is WHITE will be VERY REFLECTIVE.. whatever is black will be FLAT.
So, make grey or white or black as needed.. My MIG is moderately light grey with certain things white.. mostly darker grey around areas that would not be metallic.. so there you have it.. tutorial weeeeeeeeeeeee
