'[R-DEV wrote:Black Beret']Realism to the nth degree. That is all I desire.
But here's a list:
Realistic weapon systems of all kinds: land warfare, aviation, individually served, crew served, etc.
A realistic portrayal of U.S. and Middle East Armed Forces.
Perhaps we could replace China with Great Britain?
I'll think of many more suggestions later.
I think it would be better if we changed China to North Korea or another Communistic army; more realistic and the only thing that has to be done is to change the name of the team.. afterall China is, and will likely stay US allies.
...might be an idea in v0.6?
EDIT: THIS MOD IS THE GREATEST MOD EVER, (I just watched the 0.5 trailer, really professional work! )

There's realism and then there's "totally too much realism"Leonvvd wrote:Hello Project reality
Please make an option available at online servers that will get everyone 1 life if you get killed your killed and can watch the battle. Just like in the game socom for the playstation. Then the game is much more exiting and realistic because everybody will try hard to stay alive. And if you kill someone you will also be alot more thrilled.
and add on top of the screen the status of players alive like: US Marines: 12 | MEC Forces: 5
hope you guys will do this good luck![]()

IT wouldn't work well in a BF2 based environment

The US and China are not allies, they are trading partners. China is nobody's ally. If China were an ice cream flavor, it would be pralines and ****.Orango wrote:I think it would be better if we changed China to North Korea or another Communistic army; more realistic and the only thing that has to be done is to change the name of the team.. afterall China is, and will likely stay US allies.

Balanced colors
I hope the topic has still got the same subject on talk, and the suggestions are welcome. If so, I have one idea that has been on my mind since the release of PR.
Let's face it, the current color balance is too close to cartoon style. Everything's so colourful, shiny, that you can't miss an opponent. The camouflages are almost useless. In reality, even if the colour of the camouflage doesn't closely match another object it's contrasted to, the whole colour of the light (reflected from, let's say, sand in the desert) reflects onto and off the camouflage, then the contrast between these two objects decreases. There is also such factors as dust, mud and similar things that decreases the contrast between ANY object put into particular environment.
Now, I'm not a programmer, nor do I know the capabilities of BF2 engine, but, In my opinion this could be achieved by adding a filter to the whole screen (post processing, or how it's called...).
Thank you for your time. Any comments of this idea are welcome

Yes, shadows and lightnings could also partially solve the "problem".
Anyway, the saturation of almost all textures should be decreased by at least of 25%.

[R-DEV]Jaymz - If it wasn't for the F-18's incompetence, "Independence Day" would have ended half-way through.

Iraqi accents!
OK i know most of you don't talk arabic, but since this is so centered on realism, i thought i'd say that I WANT IRAQI ACCENTS FOR THE MILITIA/INSURGENTS!!!
and, please, try translating the words a bit better than what DICE did... thx

For the voices, there is an option for putting all voices in native langage (if traducted) or english for both teams (it's boring playing arabic and have to read wath someone say :lol
but why don't simply let the other team original speaking so we can make the difference beetween our team speaking and the other one (with an arabic accent when playing a team against english speaking state team) ?
Stalker, with your videos, you made me miss the time I was attending shooting ranges !
About the G3 video, the guy is very steady, he's used to such weapons and very strong, cause I used one time a G3-SG1 and firing is pretty violent with army ammos !
