Crash to desktop!!!

I seem to crash to the desktop allot. I close everything in the task-bar. I have an NVIDA GeForce 6200 LE, now i know what your thinking; its a little out of date, but it runs vanilla and BF2142 fine without crashing, i play on the lowest settings besides terrain on medium (Which i need to run EJOD desert). I have never crashed on EJOD desert or Al Fallujah Region i only JUST crashed Muttrah city for the first time ever. The rest of the maps i have either not played or crash on. I love this mod, i know my gear is getting out of date but if it can handle BF2142 and vannila fine then why cant it handle this? Hope you guys can help me, i'll update you if i have any more details.

I know this sounds dumb but make sure the version you DL was .5.06. I followed the download links and three of them under the .5 section were still pointing to the .4. I kept crahing to desktop then noticed alot of maps were red out, I just happened to notice the version and it was .4

i'm also getting ctd on muttrah! I'm running vista but sunset worked fine for me.

I got CTD on.. something. About 80% through load. Running Vista.
Also cannot connect to a few servers for some reason. Bah.

You might try putting "effects" on medium like your terrain...

K i'll try it, and im pretty sure the CTD's has nothing to do with the version i have as i was crashing in .4 aswell.

Tried again (PR 0.5 on Vista Busn) and got a "BF2 Memory Error".
Must be those insanely nice maps, models and graphics. Doh!
Never have a problem _at_all_ with my XP install, played for hours yesterday.

i got the same thing! i also get high ping. Usually ranges from 200-300ping.

High five! Yeah, I quit trying with Vista. Maybe PR 2 will work with it.
