Servers crahes when I'm joining in

Since last night, I'm causing server crash anytime I'm trying to join in.

Hmm. when you uninstalled the last version, did you manually look in c

rogram files to see if the PR folder had been deleted?

If you have dual core processor, have you run the game, alt tabbed to desktop and then chosen in task manager to make BF2 only use one core?

are you running off a multiple patched BF2, or just retail game plus patch 1.41 (it's about 536megs i think)

whats your exact system specs? cpu, ram, gpu, psu, OS, and wireless devices

Thanks mate for taking care about my problem, somehow I new that, if no one will reply to me, you will for sure.

Didn't took a look to program files, after uninstall, just removed 0.4 via add/remove programs and installed 0.5 without probs.
I'm running off, XP pro sp2 (installed som 50 days ago), and bf2 + full patch 1.41.
Sistem specs: single core Athlon 64 3200+, 1,50 GB RAM, PCI-X GF 6600 TF 128 MB RAM, SATA II seagate 160 GB 7200 8MB, 1 Mbps internet connection via (cable) LAN to wireless router.

I've played 0.5, from thursday night till last night, without absolutely any problems, on any server
I realized today that I'm only causing ABR supported servers to crash, on all other servers I'm playing without probs. That makes me thinking that those crashes must have something with ABR.

About a month ago I've got promoted to a colonel rank, everything was ok, rank was shown properly, for some 15 days. Some 15 days ago, after I got disconnected from server, I heard drums and that little promotion window came out - promoting me to nothing. I clicked "OK" button and after that my rank was gone. Everything is ok with all stats but I don't have any rank anymore. I wasn't concerned abut rank, cause I really don't care about it, and I didn't mentioned that little prob anywhere.

Yesterday afternoon I was playing on Thors (without problems) and, after I left the server, same thing happened again, drums and that blank promotion window. I clicked again on "OK" button and after that moment I'm causing every ABR supported server to crash, when I try to join in.

Any advice pleeeeeeeeeeease

I saw in "0.5 Post launch update" that some 90% of server crash issues will be gone, after server update.

As I didn't saw anyone on this forum with same problem as I have, I suppose that my issue will be in that 10%.

I know that some testing of the new server patch will be done, so can anyone tell me please, is there any interest in involving me into some testing of this problem?

If there is no interest, I will simply begin wit reinstalling things (from ABR client to OS reinstall), but if I can be helpful to community, I will wait a little bit more with reinstalling things.

Problem (almost) solved!!!

As I believed problem wasn't on my side, I tried to reinstall everything except OS and creating new My Docs/battlefield 2 folder, but issue was still here.
After all, I created new nick name, and everything is cool now. I suppose that ABR just didn't like my MakeeKoljach nick, anymore.

So, you will see me on the battlefield, from now on, as a new newbie called Makee_K.

Looks like your ABR account had something screwy. I've fixed that in the database, try now.

Everything looks OK now, I was successfully connected and played on iGi, Thors and GloryHoundz.
