The gun is not folded up in your arms. you dont go forward in prone on your elbows if thats how your thinking? shooting from stationary prone is perfectly fine - one leg further up to set your torso on the angle right to hold the gun and legs fairly well spaced apart, abdominals tensed and hold your breath in is the standard best way to aim without an extra prop.Figisaacnewton wrote:I'll just pop in and say: when moving while prone, unless the animation is changed and the movement is made much slower, you shouldnt be able to shoot while moving when prone, as the gun is folded up in your arms...
also i think the movemtn speed for joggin should be slowed to a quick walk, i agree with all that.
moving forwards whilst in prone done by the book requires you to move forarms flat on the floor. and whilst you all know this, it is still possible to shoot but obviously at nothing when your moving prone fast which is why realistic weapon sway would solve this problem. when moving very slowly forward it is also possible to keep your gun up and keep your aim on fairly easily. IMO there is no reason to disable functions that are possible in real life but just make them as equally hard to perform (as best is possible).
