spawning in mid air above the carrier...

It's a known bug when spawning at the wrong rally point (another squad rally point) on a map with a carrier.

It would, but they are labeled with the squad number so just dont pick the wrong one

It happened to me also, but I bounced off the radar dish and antenna and landed on the very top of the carrier. Its was scary to climb down, and yes it was from selecting the wrong spawn on mutrah.

Well now, to be fair, sometimes there is a bunker spawn, a firebase spawn and a squad spawn all clustered together and it is easy to click the wrong one.

I remember lazy *** SLs hiding 5 RPs on one spot, then no one could spawn on the right one

This is a 0.5 Bug I believe, when spawning at a wrong RP in 0.6, you spawn at the main base ! On Mestia, at least !
