Connection problems

Not so much a PR problem but a problem I've had since I got bf2. I've not botherd to sort it out until i got PR because I never really played bf2 that much.
When ever i try to join a server i get disconnected after the map has loaded, a second attempt will say unable to connect to server without loading the map. A third attempt will normally be successful. However, when the map finishes I have to the same thing again.
Whats causing this and how do i fix it? Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue only it barely ever succeeds.

The server loads and then i get "there is a problem with your connection" taking me back tot he server list.

This doesn't seem to be the problem as i can straight away log on to a normal bf2142 or bf2 game.

yesterday i managed to get in to two games out of trying about 30.

I think I've fixed it. I turned anti listing (or whatever that thing is in the video options) off. Ive been a lot more successful getting onto servers.

Hey tree, I have been getting disconnect from servers at end of map load but I think its .5 problem. Have you tried manually updating punkubster? I did that and it fixed for me being disconnected from servers most of the time.

Yeah, thats what exactly what I get. 1 second as I go into the game. I see the game working with soliders runing around and the game going on but after it gives me the error. I have been playing PR for 3 days and its been running fine. But as Cyber-Couch said:
