set rally points to be destroyable by about 40 to 50 rounds of small arms fire; previously they were incorrectly immune to small arms fire
75% increase in damage done to helicopters from AA cannons (ZPU4, M167)
40% increase in damage done to helicopters from AA cannons (ZPU4, M167)
Slight reduction in Heavy AT damage to tanks;
Slight increase in 120mm HEAT damage to Jeeps and APCs
10% boost to damage of Type 95 variants to reflect the 5.8mm round (was using the 5.56 damage template)
Corrected issue where the BTR-90 and WZ551 APC cannons were overheating faster than they should.
Vehicle Drop timer reduced to 5 minutes from 10 (this might not be working properly)
50% increase in shoulder fired AA weapon damage
Corrected error with penetration settings for weapons. they should penetrate fences and such now.
25% boost to tank hitpoints for all tanks except the T62 (only because the T62 could not be changed server side)
Fixed team-locking issues on several vehicles:
* Added to Landrover, Landrover_support, Harrier
* Fixed on BMP3, Apache
* Cleaned up on Z8
* this should eliminate most of the server crashes.
Fixed the bug when exiting the cupola gunner of tanks that are disabled (dedicated).
AAS v2 Changes:
Significant bugfixes, optomisations and improvements to AAS v2
Updated AAS code to only rebuild the objectives when a CP changes status (performance increase)
Updated some of the flag cap logic so you can defend flags that are not your objective.
Updated the AAS code to let you finish neutralizing/capping a flag even if that CP it's not your objective anymore.
Added defend messages on AAS2
Added AAS_CONQUEST config variable so you can run AAS2 as conquest.
Updated coop to use AAS2 as conquest.
Added 10s timer that will kill a player that stays in a vehicle position with the wrong kit, or not on the same squad as the player that "owns" the vehicle.
Removed the heavy attack choppers disabling of the chain gun so you don't get stuck in the position.
Updated the MEC kit req location to include the BTR90 as a non-vehicle so you can request it from the side doors instead of the back.
Add new kit request checks for officer kit, no time limit on requesting officer kit when and officer dies and respawns
Optimize kit request on rally points by only allow squad members to request kits from their own rally point or (in future) commander rally point.
Change rally kit request settings to turn them on and off, the script will determine the correct rally points for squads to request from.

Fixed issue on core that would keep players with isInsideVehicle true when changing maps.
Added config variable for disabling the vehicles damage system

Changed Hvy AT to have an initial 20s delay to use so you can't bypass the reload timer and also to have a 3s delay when firing the weapon. You must hold the trigger for 3 seconds before the weapon will fire the projectile.
Quartermaster System:
- No AA or AT from Rally Points
- RP kit request can only be made on mapper or your own squads RP
- Detect no base CP defined and allow all CPs to be requestable (Single Player fix)
Significant code clean up and optomisations as a result of performance profiling and code restructuring.
Fixed AAS getting the correct CP group to attack/defend when out of order.
Fixed AAS flag cap logic to only allow to capture/neutralize when the attacker have 200% of the defenders.
fixed errors with Fallujah 16 CP names from AAS messages. NOTE: this may not display correctly in the map on the client, but the AAS messages will be correct.
reduced heavy AT damage to tank tracks
Boosted heavy AT damage to rear of tanks
Boosted 120mm HE damage to jeeps by 30%
Tweaked the team damage point system. Players now receive an additional team damage point when a vehicle is destroyed. Fixes an error where no points were given if a vehicle was instantly destroyed. Also changed it so that no team damage points are given for shooting wrecks, even though the game still displays the messages.

I may have read it wrong, but you can no longer request AA and AT from your rally point (and can't request anything from a different squads rally point), so where can you request AA, and AT from? Also, can kits be requested from any flag you take, or just those with permenant spawn points?
It looks good on paper. Looking forward to playing it.

will the type 95 still take three shots to kill w/out body armor? Will it have increased recoil?

You can still request them at APCs and main flags.

That is gonna suck balls on Fallujah. What about supply crates? If you have no commander you already have to have your squad leader spawn ALLLLLL the way back at mosque to get an officer kit. Now MEC will have to do that to get the heavy AT kit. Unless everyone mass respawns back in light AT to tackle the APC.

Wow, i had no idea all of this was do-able by a server only fix. That's some awesome stuff there guys. I'm especially liking the Heavy AT/AA thing. That will really help balance things a little bit on Oman and stuff.
I'm also guessing you'll be able to req them @ supply crates. It said you can't req them from Rally points, so that means every other way of req'ing them should work.
Please can you slightly reduce the recoil of the M16 _in single shot mode_ ?
The single shot for M16's in 0.4 was perfect! It would go great as a balance to the 0.5 G3/QBZ
Looks like players will have to be very smart to catch out a tank now.

I agree. And everyone already knows how hard it is to die, so how are you suppose to keep him alive for some length of time??
Also, what if you are behind enemy lines and no apcs or anything around to request it from? A 1 request limit for the AT at the rally point would be better option if possible.

Okay, you are playing MEC on Fallujah. If you have a commander you could spawn at any flag and request a supply drop. You as the SL can request an officer kit. Now, if you do not have a commander, the only way to request anything on Fallujah as MEC is to spawn wwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy back at the Mosque. Am I wrong? Lets just say you are lucky enough to get a supply drop, ALL of your teamates, at least the SLs are shackled to having to locate that one supply crate to get their officer kits. Right?

You can get the officer kit from the main base, supply crate, APC, or RP. So most maps you have to get the officer kit from the home base initially until you setup a RP. Then as long as the RP isn't destroyed the SL can spawn there and then request a new officer kit from the RP.
I haven't played Fallujah in a while and haven't played it on 0.5 yet so not sure if there is something different about this map.
Fallujah has an ammo dump in Ourpost. This should allow limited kit requests. If the US can't get limited until they take that point it sounds good to me.
