HI.
I'm experiencing random CTD (crash to desktop) all the time, I seriously don't get it, I spent alot of time at tweakguides.com at the troubleshooting section.
I even made a disc defragmenting!
just nothing seem to work, I meet all the minimum requirements - and more.
also have almost all the settings on low, except for terrain and effects which is on medium.

okay Im not an expert, but Im gonna ask the standard questions. Have you BF2 1.41 Installed? Have you re-installed PR 0.5? etc etc often reinstalling might solve the problem.
Anthony Lloyd, himself a former soldier in the British army and a Northern Ireland and Gulf War veteran:
"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

i have no idea on this one..can you narrow down any typical crash errors? have you run your game in windowed mode to see any errors?
if not..right click the PR shortcut and look at the command line properties and change the fullscreen line to 0
should look like this
+menu 1 +fullscreen 0
this should maybe give you some idea what the error is as it will give an error report when it crashes...
