Even with EVERY top of the line part (which I pretty much have currently) I dont do as great as on some other maps with almost constant 65+ FPS... Dont get me wrong, it IS my favorite map, but there is that fact that not everyone has the ability to run it properly.

Swapping is when you don't have enough ram and the system has to use the page file (hard drive) as ram which is slow as fuck and if your HDD light is always blinking when you are getting lag that is what is causing it and more ram will fix this issue.

I kinda agree with what you've said ..... Ram is a serious bottle neck for most people, and 2 gig's is pretty much the standard right now.

But i also believe that setting and using your paging file correctly can SERIOUSLY improve the whole system.

The last rig i built ran me about 2500, just for the box ... ( no monitor, key board, mouse, head phones, speakers) JUST THE BOX ..... and there is no doubt if i went to buy the same thing pre built it would have been 3 times as much .... that is pretty much the standard ...

You can build a 6000$ Rig for about 2K .... if you know what your doing, and get the good deals !

The greatest solution to stop stutter is turning textures to medium.

I no longer have stutters on any map.

I always thought about swiping parts from computers at school, but never got around to putting real thought into it.
