Exploding buildings are AWESOME!

I just got the chance to play helmland province the other day and played with the exploding buildings which I found to be reallly advanced for the BF2 engine. They are really cool, and am hoping more maps will have just buildings which can be destroyed.

Will we be seeing more fully destructable building maps? They are really cool.

There's a 24 hour Al Basrah/Helmand server that's pretty good.

One thing I like to do is (as Brits) go to all the insurgent back bases with a rifleman, a spec ops, and a heavy AT, and blow their buildings so that when we attack them later, they have less cover.

The thing is... there's a bug that causes the server to crash on Helmand Province. I won't say it here for fear of abuse.

Oh no I've heard of that as well despite not playing it.

Apparently it's when an insurgent tries to enter one of the land rovers.

The Warrior Nation 24/7 Helamdn/Basra server WILL NOT CRASH. I gave WnxJaymz a mini hotfix for his server that removes the landrovers.

I cant wait to see destruction on maps with tanks and planes...it would be cool if basarh was like 50% destructable at least

And you think Basrah has lag now?

24 lightmaps per building vs the current 3.

Its my clans server, 24/7 Helmend/Albasrah Warrior Nation and its an American server. Runs the Helmend map and size 32 Basrah. Our helmend does not crash cause we r teh special.

i was playing one of these maps the today, looked out a window 2 enemys, oh **** i think, kill one other turns round with an RPG im like 'ohhh sh*t!' boom blows me up and half the building, comedy!

Yes, it makes light AT very useful.
