tanks
Hey, not sure if there is a post about this or not, i couldn't find one.
but can anyone give me some good advive for the tanks?
what rounds to use on what.
the difference between the rounds.
good play to hit other tanks.
good way of staying alive..
stuff like that, cause i can't seem to do anything with them... i get what i think is two or tree good hits and then get taken out in one shot but the other..

If you don't have a mic get a cheep one so you can communicate with your squadmates. Also, try to avoid tanking alone(though I find myself tanking alone a lot because crewman kits can be hard to come by in the middle of the battlefield).
Thanks luizinhuu for the find

Remember always to get cover as much as possible, but still be able to shoot.
One good tactic, is to be behind cover. When you have reloaded or ready, you command your driver to go forward. Not too much because you dont want to be exposed. When you'r moved behind the cover, SHOOT and then get back to cover.
Another good hint is to NEVER GO ALONE! Always watch that you have some infantry near you. Remember, your role is to support your team, and not that the team supports you.
If you have a mic and your a gunner. You have to command where the tank must to go. Always say quick and easy commands like Forward, left, right stop. And remember, the driver cant see to his back.
And if you are a driver. STOP always when you see a enemy and say quikcly where did you see it. Example *you stop the vehicle* "Infantry at left.!" "Enemy TANK at right!"
I hope these help you.

Yep, the best advice is get a cheap mic, especially if you want to be a gunner, as you can quickly tell the driver to stop, move, rotate, etc.
The tank driver can go without a mic, just about. A mic can be picked up for fairly cheap, with no installation needed. Mine cost £1 and is the best I've ever used.

Unless you're at a huge distance you shouldn't have to worry about drop so much with the shells. With .5 you're never sure if you hit thanks to the dust clouds kicking up but usually you don't have to compensate too much for movement or distance. I remember shooting at a cobra once and being sure I missed it until I saw it race by me, through the dust clouds, with black smoke and flames following it. Really, the thing should have blown up outright but a few seconds of flames followed by complete loss of control and the inevitable crash are good enough for me.Glamorize_Cocaine wrote: but i seem to be better as a driver... for some reason i just can't hit anything (or so it seems)

but in BF2 i actually hit a F-35 once with a tank round, you could see it hit clear as day and nothing
it was flying at my in a fast hover dropping bombs and yeah, i lived thogh!@
well, thakns guy. hope to squad up with everyone soon ^^
i mostly play on Devfile, or just random ones wheni want a change.
