Trouble installing

Whenever I try and enter project reality, my screen goes blank like its loading, but then boots me to the desktop.

I was wondering if I have to update BF2 all the way before I can play it, or if there is something I have to do other than install the mod.

Also, i highly doubt this would matter, but I deleted a few of the intro videos in the original BF2 folder so I wouldnt have to sit through them every time I loaded the game.

you must have the latest BF2 patch 1.41

PR has its own movies in the beginning (its like a 3 second intro) so you dont need to delete anything like that.

Also, if you had PR .4 installed before, uninstall that.

Although, neither did I..... I had 1.4, but not 1.41, all that happened was I couldn't find any servers.
