Al Basrah airfield.

Post by masterofflama »

I played about 2 hours on Al basrah today and i would like to change two things:

1. Move the repair stations into the hangars.

2. Move the A-10's spawns into the hangars.

Why? It's much more real than it is now, and secondly it is very annoying trying landing only to find that a jet is standing in the middle of Airstrip, and kaboom. You are dead.

Please take it into consideration.

i find that while it may be more realistic, it would just be too much of a hassle. This is where that whole "teamplay" element comes into play. i know that i've landed many a times with a flamming engine on my a-10 in such a way i cant move it.. so i get a enginer in the repair car to drive up and repair me. The repair spots on the airfield are a valid concern but then the question woud be.. does the pilot have enough room to taxi successfully there and back again without the possibility of hitting something.

you mean that it's just too big to fit in hangar, right?

I say leave them out on the run way so the Americans crash due to no coordination. We insurgents need all the help we can to stop the amercians advance. The only real threat the Americans pose is from their air supperiority.

I remember the time I decided to give up playing PR .4 was in your map trying to not to crash out of the hangar in a10 and then trying to turn, as a result the plane just flew straight into the building in front plus a desktop crash.
