Server Group

Post by Desertfox »

Theres really no toher place to put this and this is suggestions. I would really appreciate a server section for admins to discuss hackers etc etc etc. Right now I have a list of people and I would like to share them with servers without having it public information.

It could be something like this. You apply > You get in > Each server can have 3 admins in the server group > Have more then 1 server? You can apply for more people.

Would be handy to have a place to name all the known hackers.

One of my clan actually had a hacker admit he was using an aimbot on Vanilla last night. We got his name and a screenie of the offender....

great idea this, this will make the community strong.
I agree you should have a private forum for admins to discuss suspects etc but I also think you should have a forum to submit evidence of people ruining games (we had a guy on hills on himangymangymangymong take out 2 of our spawns TK 5 of us then disconnect) fraps captures, screenshots etc (although screenies dont really tell the story if it just shows TK's, accidents can happen)
As for caught cheats I think the community deserves to know who has been caught/who has been killing them with unfair advantage.
And the cheats deserve to be publicly flogged/or a chance to try and defend themselves.

Wooly, its not eliminating that. This way lets say you suspect a cheater, you can post in the server owners group and get different opinions. Instead of just posting publicly.

yes, I agree with that!
all I am saying is once they are proven 100% to be cheating (pb screeny for example), everyone deserves to know.
also I think some server admins may need a little help with the whole pb ss thing.

Agreed. Just someplace to post to get proof etc.
