Nope.
Note that the M16A4 also will have one.

Good to see the MEC getting some upgrades. Too bad the G3 with the GL will probably replace the AK-101.

Becuase the AK-101 with the UGL is in the MEC grenadier spot atm, only because there's no G3 with one.

I see what they're doing. They're standardising everything. It makes sense that they would use a special DMR G3 instead of the SVD. Same ammo, magazines etc.. just a bipod and a more powerful scope. Then the LMG is similair and fires the same ammo.

Makes better sense than:

AK101 - 5.56mm Nato
RPK - 7.62 Russian short
SVD - 7.62 Russian long
AKS-74u - 5.45 Russian

With all those ammo types, logistics would be a nightmare. Militarys do tend to standardise things (like now, as we can see with the G3 family). So in a way what they're doing is more realistic - and cool at the same time. gg devs.
