I had it happen once, but it wasnt with artillery and it was friendly fire... Basically me and my sweet squad, we were basically owning the opposing forces... Well were making our way through the woods of the Dalin Oilfields to capture a near by base, on our way, our commander drops us supplies, so we are all gathered around the crate, I think we had 3 guys in a DPV the rest of us were on foot, but anyways, I hear an incoming plane, I turn and look up to see a bombs like 15 ft away coming straight at us, my entire 6 or 7 man squad was whipped out by friendly fire, I was so pissed. Then it happened again, same guy, same map, but he only got like 3 or 4 of us including me and my so called co-leader. We were all really pissed, and not to mention, it didnt give us the option to punish the teamkiller either

well true, but you cant control that without good admins. its not so much the game as it is stupid selfish people playing. i think those people will be few and far between in PR due to the type of game it is and from hearing from the members of the community. i think that artillery is even worse than getting TKd just because its the games fault, not the person using it. if its available to them, theyre trying to win, so they'll use it. i think it needs to be taken away from commanders and put in the players hands.

Its not only that which was falce infomation. Check your game [ackage and there website and youl notice quite a few things are missing from the game which they decided to put in an expansion pack.Super Six Three wrote:A lie from EA, EA said Enginer should have c4 but no....!

Yeah, I have yet to see material penetration actually work, If a .50 cal round cant go through some old sheet metal, then I'd say either there's no material penetration, or it's really screwed up.TerribleOne wrote:Its not only that which was falce infomation. I noticed that too! In CSS sniper goes through walls (plaster walls) etc you see the hole go right through and then leave a mark on the last wall it hits - every gun has this penetration effect to a point.
In BF2 it seems nothing penetrates anything it really suks ive been trying to shoot people behind crate and plywood on maps and nothing happens even though i see there body peeking slightly out

PR will be making a more realistic bullet drop physics system, so in PR you may have to aim slightly above depending on your range, but im sure the PR scopes will have markings to represent distance, so basically determine enemy distance, place appropriate marking on target, and squeeze to trigger, and watch them drop.

Better then BF2 i suppose. but stil not as realistic. Also if the XM107 and 109 or any are made they use the Barret optical ranging system, so basicly them rifles should not need any aiming above since its v easy to get shots on target. Even though real snipers stil do not aim above there targets depending on the range.. for an example i read about a british sniper who scored a shot and his bullet actually arched and reached a peak of 54ft in the air.
Couldent we have somthing dynamic like some buttons to press to adjust the scope reticle to where it should be (range only - wind and pressure is too complicated) and you use your binos to determine the range (say you point them at somone and it tells you the range for games sake)
Then your rifle is set at that range which you can then set back to default or enter another range.
Just more realistic i suppose.

i think the snipers power is fine and now in some case too much like the 50cal sniper with i love can. kill a man by shooting his feet snipers are used to take a man down with 1 shot by good aiming to the head or at least his chest not pure fire power. They are more powerfull then normal rifles and they should have a lot of power but not 1 hit kill. i think the guy should be brought if u hit him in the chest with the 50 cal 1 time to like 5 hp or where he will bleed out in a few seconds if he dose not get to a medic. add zooming should be what ever the guns have with is further then what the give you.
