All I know is in the original I find myself hitting the same player time after time and watch him run away. In Pr its worth doing covering fire as when you get hit your dead or badly effected which is right on the money.
It worth laying on covering fire as everyone knows to keep there heads down or there out. Its worth just firing off a couple of rounds as one might just kill when you have nothing in direct sight.
Just played vanilla...

Yes, Vanilla is a joke compared to PR.
Thanks to the hard work of the Devs, who add new features to every update.
But lately i get killed more and more by people who use their RPG or Heavy AT as an anti personell weapon.
This is annoying, because it reminds me of the days when i was playing Vanilla.
Please people, you play a reality mod so contribute to the athmosphere of it and stop abusing the weapon systems.

Here is my BF2 experienced sumed up a bit.
*Spawn*
*Run to nearest Jet*
I happen to beat a guy into the ****-pit.
He puts C4 on me.
I blow up in mid air.
*Spawn*
*Run to the other nearest Jet*
I get there way ahead of anyone else.
I slam the afterburners.
Someone jumps infront of me.
I get a TK.
*Spawn*
*Run to nearest flag*
I see a Sniper coming.
I duck and shoot, he Dolphin and Bunny hops through my bullets.
He throws a Claymore.
Im 16ft away from it, but still blow up.
I die.
*Hits ESC key*
*Disconnect*
*Exit*
*Start*
*Control Panel*
*Add/Remove*
*BF2*
*Uninstall*
*Stares at the screen wondering why he would rather be punched in the nuts then play BF2*

One superior advantage of PR is the medic method
In V don't expect a heal
In PR just shoot slightly to the left (if present) of the ignorant medic
He will then realise he has just been a complete arse after he knows you followed him 200m and will heal you in fear of being TK'd and having the half minute spawn time.
BTW I do my fair share of healing
Another time - one ignorant medic... I crouched in front of him and RPG'd blackhawk. Cover behind ridge, scan top and flanks...full heal.
