Another ABR question
As I mentioned in an earlier thread, ABR has been giving me some issues. I'm postive only about half my games, if not less, are tracking, even though I'm sticking to ABR servers. Furthermore, this site says I'm a Private, though when I play the game seems to know I'm a Sergeant. Any idea what's going on?

Well, I haven't been keeping track of the server names up until my last batch of games when I decided to really try and nail this problem. Honestly, I have no idea whether it has anything to do with the server I'm on or what.
If you mean how I know my games aren't getting tracked, well, I'll give you some examples: I recall one incident where I played four games in a row. However my win/loss count didn't change. So, later that day, I played a single game, and it added a loss to my win/loss count. I also know this is the case because some medals I earn won't ever show up on my stats. Or there have been cases where I, for example, start the day with 100 kills in my stats score 11 kills in one match, disconnect, then score 20 kills in another match. When I return to check my stats at the end of the day, my kills have gone to 120, skipping straight over the match in which I scored 11 kills.
Most recently, I played three games on a server called "Helix" something or other. I scored a silver star and a new badge in those three matches, as well as one loss and two wins. As of now, my stats haven't updated to account for those things, but its too early to say they didn't track at all (as opposed to simply not having tracked YET). If I see any evidence my accomplishments in those games will never register, I'll let you know.

Okay, SO I am a fool....ABR Client? That has to be running for any stats to stick?'[R-DEV wrote:TheRealFritz']The Private vs Sgt issue is because you're not running the ABR client. Promotions won't stick outside of the game without it, because of the way EA/DICE structured the ranking protocol.
Can you be more specific on servers that don't track your games?

I am also finding that my ABR stats don't seem to update all that often, but frankly it's a good thing that they disappear and aren't there to embarass me. I like to pretend the problem is that I am new to the mod, but I was a fairly lousy vBF2 player so I can't blame PR for it. I am trying to learn how to SL so that I have a legitimate excuse for hanging back and avoiding the bullets.
