Yes! I agree 100%! (becuase that includes me)'[R-DEV wrote:Riki_Rude_BTYC']I think if you have been on the forum for 1 year and have a thousand posts you should get it. that way spamming doesnt really matter, and most people that have been on for a year have 1,000 posts already anyways. I think pink would be perfect heheh.

You think it should be automatic then?'[R-DEV wrote:Riki_Rude_BTYC']I think if you have been on the forum for 1 year and have a thousand posts you should get it. that way spamming doesnt really matter, and most people that have been on for a year have 1,000 posts already anyways. Though, I aggree with you to about 90% with your suggestion i think that the number of posts should, imho, have very little to do with qualifying for whatever color is decided upon.
I can live with your suggestion should it be put into effect though. However, as someone pointed out earlier, to have the number of posts directly tied in with this "award" will most probably cause a massive spam flood.
This could be avoided if there were to be some sort of screening of the posts of the applicant.
Btw, could we have an official reply, yes or no by a forum admin. There is no need to discuss the details if it, in the end, turns out that the powers that be has alreay decided NOT to go through with this?

Try getting one of those to read the off-topic forums.BlakeJr wrote: Btw, could we have an official reply, yes or no by a forum admin. There is no need to discuss the details if it, in the end, turns out that the powers that be has alreay decided NOT to go through with this?
Two options, you could PM one, or this could be moved to suggestions. Choose.

My original intention was to post it in the General forum as it is a forum related suggestion and not related to the mod itself...'[R-TFA wrote:Wolfmaster']Try getting one of those to read the off-topic forums.

But I sort of did the bad thing with the pooch and ended up posting in OT.
Can you move this mess to General or if you really think it belongs in suggestions, move it there instead.

Speaking personally, I don't want or need any special tag or colour, regardless of my "length of service" or my post count. If people respect me, I want it to be for the quality of my posts and my conduct here and in game, not because I have a pretty colour or a tag.
I understand having that for the mods, devs, etc. It is an important way of identifying those who are contributing time and work to this project. In and of itself that alone is enough to deserve respect in my eyes, but to get something special because of your post count or because you've been around a while? Nope. Not for me thanks.
