Nice looking maybe, revolutionary not really...It's only a bull pup configuration rifle, I mean unless there's something inside of it that's new or its made of a new composite material there's nothing revolutionary about it.=Eclipse wrote:http://www.army.lt/guns/gallery/I15.jpg

Look @ the Marine in your sig. See where his support hand ends? That's about where the tavor ends. Tavor > M-16 for close quarters. Close quarters is mostly what we're facing now battle wise anyway. And with the same accuracy, that nice stock, and its reliability, it may not be revolutionary in the sense of the AK-47, but it's still got a leg up on the competitionFREEGUNNER wrote:Nice looking maybe, revolutionary not really...It's only a bull pup configuration rifle, I mean unless there's something inside of it that's new or its made of a new composite material there's nothing revolutionary about it.

Because no one has thought of the bullpup configuration before!The_motivator wrote:Look @ the Marine in your sig. See where his support hand ends? That's about where the tavor ends. For revolutionary, try something that wasnt invented in 1902.
Anyway, no force in PR would use the Tavor.
@ midnightcowboy: Who the hell said the MEC were islamic fundamentalists? Thats what we have insurgents for!
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!

actually i saw this on future weapons and it has aloooooot of advantages of the m16/m4.
- bullpup design
- all the weight of the rifle is in the back so it's easier to move around because all the weight is not at the front of the rifle. (take like a baseball bat, and put a weight on the end, and try and aim it, now switch it around and that's what it's like with the weight at the end by your shoulder.)
-the smaller design makes it easier for inner city fighting which is what the Israelis are doing now in Gaza and what not.
-Great accuracy, because the barrel is longer.
-Scope is zeroed into the barrel.
- veryyyyyy liiight.
as stated though, you wont see this in service because Israelis arent fighting...
howwwevverrrr... there should be the new H&K rifle that is alll weather and has gas venting by the barrel so that you can strip the bolt and it's ice cold. Nothin like having a weap that can be fired out of water and sand in your arsenal

I'm not saying they're not islamic, I'm saying:
1) They are not fundamentalist forces
2) Religion is not thier motivation for conflict.
The MEC, as far as I can see is a coalition of the current middle eastern countries, and most of those have secular governments, though they may have religous influences. Also, remember the MEC are not fighting out of choise, they're fighting because they were attacked by US forces.
Mind you, this is getting way, way off topic

Well of course any rifle is better at close quarters then m16 but close quarters is not what we're facing in PR most of the time. In Iraq in real life close quarters is what they're facing but not alot of times in PR. Besides this game is based off realism and so far no faction that is portrayed in PR has adopted Tavor and US will never adopt Tavor cause it's too expensive. M16---->Cheap.The_motivator wrote:Look @ the Marine in your sig. See where his support hand ends? That's about where the tavor ends. Tavor > M-16 for close quarters. actually they are being sold to other countries, already been sold to india elite uint's and theyre trying to sell them to other countries aswell, also, in the future why wouldnt isreal be in the MEC as isreal's in the middle east, perheps in the future when this is set all those countries have a dinner party and make nice
and if you're gonna add a TAR T-21 you shouldnt, you should add the TAR S-21 instead, much nicer
