reviving after IED?

Im playing al basrah I get into my derka derka vehicle and see that facility is white so I drive over blasting the music and see 2 USMC people standing a car's width apart so literally when I pull up they are right beside me. I blow the and laugh at them and then what happens..... they get revived.

They just had a freaking C4 pack go off right beside them and they get revived

Isnt there something like the headshot that says if you get exploded you cant be revived?

I think that if you get killed by an IED it should be like when you get killed by a rocket or a headshot...

It's really frustrating to go kamikaze for nothing.

Why wouldn't it be realistic? There have been plenty of guerrillas over the years that haven't used suicide bombings. It just wouldn't be topical and timely.

im pretty sure that at some point in every war, there has been at least 1 suicide car bomb.

and when i mean realistic, i mean, since this is kinda based on iraq (if not then please tell me) suicide car bombs must be in the game, and if they are not, it wouldnt show the full brunt of reality. get my drift?

Yes, I understand that part of it.

It is not set in the current Iraq conflict, but in something similar to it, yes.

Did you see some combat footage ?
There are thousands of videos .. of soldiers standen next to a IED and get nothin .. its not a nuke bomb .so not every soldier is getting killed by this.. the most gut hurt.

When you are RIGHT next to it with nothing shielding you from the bomb except for your bulletproof vest. I think its safe to say your probably going to get killed :/

I detonated a jihad-mobile less than 1m away from 3 marines only to see them get revived on the death cam

I did take down a hummvee and an APC though

nah, seriously, taking down a APC/tank (and sometimes both) with one busted up car or bike is the most fun in this game..It's even a bit better then the helmond province map. if you have good team work.
