Teamkills

Post by Spartan452 »

I don't understand why people punish, it is very easy to make mistakes and shoot your own team in this guy.

Me and my squad were moving down this street when we came under fire, alot of fire, and they didn't stop shooting, so my squad and i assumed they must be enemies, my squadleader told me to shoot a 203 behind those boxes because thats where all the fire was coming from, i listened to him, shot a 203 and bam killed 3 of my own guys, the firing stopped and my i was like oh shit, and i got kicked because they punished.

Maybe you guys should make the name markers appear sooner, because its hard to distiniguish friend from foe. Those guys shouldn't have punished because they shot at us first.

Or maybe like the way C0D was set up, where you couldn't TK someone within a certain distance.

I'd say that's a textbook friendly fire incident. Totally by accident but devastating nonetheless. That being said, I'd say that's also a fairly rare occasion. Most people aren't putting grenades where teammates might be. I don't see this as a common occurrence by any means. It was a one-off accident that sucked. Bummer.

If you think that sucks, I just saw an enemy apc dismount. So I killed the spec ops coming out the back, took his kit, and while going to drop SLAMs on it, I died by a friendly grenade. Before I could forgive him for the TK, I got kicked for "Excessive Teamkills"

ughhh.......I didn't even have a weapon out. Let alone a grenade. DERRR

Nasty. But get in the habit of checking your minimap for friendlies - foolproof....
