Rally point bug?

Post by gun.KingRat »

Tried searching for this, sorry if it has already been brought up. Tonight on Mao Valley, the Chinese team was able to set rally points inside the bunker at Checkpoint Bravo, right next to the flag. Is this a bug? I thought you had to be a certain distance from the flag to set a rally point. Just curious.

I've had the US do this on some maps too. Except the rally point was next to a sandbag wall.

They are mapper placed rally points. They spawn there.

Once that RP is destroyed you can't replace it.

Hmm. I didn't realize that there were RP pre placed in the maps. The one in the bunker on Mao Valley was replaced several times. I assumed that a squad leader was doing it, maybe it just respawns periodically or when they take the flag back. Odd that one side would be able to spawn at forward flags and not the other. I thought that was the point of having RP's. Anyhow, thanks for the quick responses.

There only there untill there destroyed, wich is usually as soon as another team takes the CP. You probably just imagined they kept spawning at the same flag.
