'[R-PUB wrote:trogdor1289']As to adding this to BF2 it wouldn't really encourage the type of gameplay we are looking for.
How?

Really Gay Guy

America was a tad late into the First World War. They redeemed themself's and came in slightly sooner in the Second. Now they seem determined to start the Third.

I was about to ask the same question. If it's not for sneaking behind enemy lines, then why not some silent urban combat? A short weapon is useful for clearing rooms, etc. Especially with the EOTech...

I've done a bit of editing to it, among other things resizing the EOTech, so it's now the right size. Might get Maistros to texture/skin the thing for me; he's good at that.

She really is a beuat mate, and I cant wait to see her textured!
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

That eotech is too small actually. I have one on my AR-15 here at home and I know first hand that the part where the batteries go (the bottom part that the sight is protruding from) is too short. Looks really weird. Needs to be about twice as long.

*edit* here is a link to an eotech sight. It illustrates what i mean by being too short: http://yankeehill.bizland.com/store/media/EOtech.jpg

These are just small defects. I wouldnt say its too much bwalling over so i'd say leave it be and skin it up.

Lucky you  But there are several models, and they take different batteries. You've probably got the AA version. This is the AAA version. Checked with measurements from the EOTech website.

And that's just one mounting option. I think the one I went for is sexier, but it illustrates my previous point.

Yay. Hopefully you can get it done as fast as this one. I haven't been able to get Maistros to do textures for me.

Sure it does! CQB, mate, CQB! Urban areas, where engagements take place at close range.

And I'm already modelling a couple of other weapons, so I'm not running out of work yet...

Thanks! It's easy once you get the hang of it. Getting the hang of it, however, is harder  You using Gmax?

Ooh, necrophilia!

Not really, not even sure I've got it lying around any more. Z-trooper's made a few MP5 versions, though, including an SD.

That's not a very nice thing to say.
Z-Trooper made some equally great models from what I have seen.
