I don't know if you've ever seen a real Missile Warning Panel on an aircraft, but it also points as to the direction of the threat. I tried finding a picture but to no avail, so just imagine some kind of round panel cut like a pie in 8 pieces, with the "Red Light" in the middle. When the sensor goes off, the visual and audio warning go off and the a section of the "pie" lights in the direction of the threat (12 o clock, 6 o clock, ect.) I don't think it's realistic that the present indicator don't show from where the lock is coming from.
SHTORA
The Shtora-1 is a electro-optical counter-measures defensive aids suite (ECMODAS) used on T-90 tanks. Basically what it does is launch flares, deploy laser-foiling smoke grenades and, with the press of a button, turns the turret in the direction of the source of the missile lock to expose the most armored part of the turret to it and to enable the commander to engage the launcher. While it is very powerful (and maybe overpowered), i do think the US has a copy in preparation. I think it should have a very very slow reload time (20-30 seconds).
