MREs instead of medical packs

Post by Tookie »

I think it would be funny to use MRE kits to heal people instead of the usual medical bag that the Medics throw all over!

No one will agree with me im sure, but atleast its a thought!

MRE's are usually pretty foul, so if the enemy grabs one, it can kill them or cause them severe discomfort for the next 3-4 days.

WHAT!! how can you say that! i loved them lol. No seriously.
The chocolate pudding was one of the nicest iv had (allthough i hadent had chocolate pudding in a while).
Not to mention you get some nice biscuits to *bung* you up and then a nice orange drink to unblock yourself when you get back :P .
And i dont think they issue kendal mint cake anymore but that was allways the first thing missing from the box.

I remember people saying they had not been to the toilet for the a week and there pcoket is full of shiny green papers :P

Bah was all good fun until we got warned that there was adders found on a rock not far from the old barn where we had our camp and i woke up the next morning with an adder skin about 4 foot from my head!!!! I swear i heard it in the night!

Or they just found it funny....

MRE's arnt half bad, back in WW2 they seemed pretty nasty, but now a days with modern science they can make a pretty decent meal, it aint red lobster, but it beats most school food from the cafeteria IMHO. My boss brought in a large thing of Ribs which im pretty sure were MREs.and they werent half bad, with the exception that you could bite through the bone, made for an intresting lunch break. lol.

The few I've had were accompanied by a "fruit punch" mix, which essentially is red chalk. I never actually tried to eat chalk in school and never really wondered what it tasted like, but I know. I skipped that part of the meal.

I LOVE MREs! Hard to say which is my favorite, had so many. And though I do like them so much...I don't get why eating would heal a gunshot wound...

yeah, if you were going to get really really in depth and have online battles last for days, then MREs would be good for maybe replenishing stamina... but thats a whole new ballgame not to mention something the BF2 engine probably doesnt support.

If they ever (and pray that they don't) bring back the old dehydrated beef or pork patties - DO NOT, under any circumstance, I repeat - DO NOT re-hydrate them with rum before eating them!

Don't ask, don't tell...
