Is it possible (and legal) to mod demos?

Yes on most levels its illegal to mod demos, but that guy who came offering HD sounds got it to work.

So it is possible :)

If you run a full pirated copy of a game there is a chance that the crack you used is the demo's exe, this also proves how low crackers can go.

bf2 is pretty cheap now. a clanmate of mine is buying every expansion for bf2 as well as the game itself for around 30-40 retail. i think by itself bf2 is around 20. i could be wrong. so making a bf2 demo mod would kind of be a lot of work for a very small result.
