That is not the case in my squads. I prefer to keep everyone on a certain kit. The one I have assigned them. When a SL assigns kits, it's for a reason. With me it's because I thought out what kind of opposition we are going to be facing on the map and they amount of mobility I want with my men. If all of a sudden i have 4 medics, a SL and a L-AT, we are up shit creek without a paddle. One squad can do massive damage EX. Kill 2 T90s and 2 APCs all at once. That is not possible with everyone picking up the kits of their "saviours". Sorry guys, that's the risk of the job.
