What is your furthest comfirmed sniper kill in BF2?

Post by Djuice »

Well as your title says how far was the target that you killed?

Well for me it was 350m+

With a M24 :P

Well my best shot ever was a heli that was grey in the distance. I had a pure pot shot with my barret and was trailing the heli about 4inches infront and somhow got the driver and caused the heli to crash 8) .

Not exactly sure of mine, but i've had many nice ones, i think my farthest was around 325-350m in MP with an M24.

Not sure, but for the ranges that are shot in BF2, the M95 should be more accurate.

Not really, the M95 MOA is like 1.0 to 1.5, while the M24 is arounds 0.5 MOA meaning its actually less accurate then the M24. But it has longer reach, can sniper people outwards to about 1,500m while the M24 is around 800m.

I love to snipe but I suck at it. So I guess my best snipe would be within 100m radius.

I made a lovely kill on Gulf of Oman from the first US spawn point (the one with all the hummers and the M1 tank).
My target : Wolfmaster
His location : Crane.

It was without doubt my best snipershot to date! I really wish I had a screenshot of it.. Watching through the scope how he tumbled backwards and then the kill message....

Then he went on and killed me until I had to get off the server.... :D

Edit: Here's a map indicating our positions. Thanks Req, for the map! :D

I'm not sure if this counts but i once shot a guy while he was running down the hill in sharqi penninsuala with my side arm. The range on that shot was extreme. couldn't believe i had hit him.

I was sniping from the top of the crane in the middle of the map.
