teammate names showing up after 2-3 seconds

i find when i see someone by the time it shows a teammate i have been shot.is this a bug?i think imo that the team names should be shown at all times so no name means its gotta be an enemy.i find i shoot my guy way to often.

learn how to recognize the other indicators of enemies. Nametags will not be coming back any time soon.

I believe it's a apart of the "Reality" factor. It makes you think twice before firing & should actually cut down on friendly fire incidents. Just make sure you control that trigger finger of yours.

You might also want to use your mini-map to determine if there friend or foe.

Its the way it works, I like it myself but I recognise that it unbalances the game for people who run lower resoulution and graphic cards that cant pump up the image quality.

The very best way to get over this is to get used to using the minimap well. Always use it to see where your team members are all the time. If what you think is an enemy appears amoung friends then spot it, in any case if it is an enemy you will see a firefight ensue. Remeber that it is not your job to get a kill ahead of the next guy on your team, your job is to win the game for your team.

I also feel safe hiding in the bushes with my knife drawn from a stupid big red tag giving me away when an enemy accidently points his gun on my position.
You will adapt and teamkill less soon enough

press Q and enemy spot targets is the best way to be sure, also get used to the uniforms.
If you havent got time to Q spot and you shoot a teammate but dont TK him, still say sorry and give him your band aid, it will be appreciated.

Try and forget all the bad habits of vBF, and you will go fine. Get with a squad, if memory servs me correctly their tags show constantly?? Correct me if Iam wrong.

It's already pretty obvious wether it's friend or foe just by visual at 30m so I see no reason to reduce it. The way it is now you have a name to go with the guy that you know is a teammate.

I'm new to PR and the no tag feature has been tough to get used to, especially on the jungle maps where the firefights are often intermixed. I like the feature, but it gets me killed often, which is something I already do just fine on my own.
