I don't play on that server but any squad that prefers defense gets a thumbs up from me.

I'm pretty sure I have been in your squad and it seemed very good for a pickup group (I can't see the full-on military discipline & tactics being possible without a squad that has played together before).

I always find that I defend when I'm squad leader just like you. Since it is very rare that squads on a public server defend, it is up to people like us to defend virtually all the time. On a very organised team, then the defence wouldn't always fall to the same squad, but on the average public server, someone has to think about tactics and take the unglamourous role of defence
The verbal brutality found on forums is often reminiscent of the physical brutality found in first person shooters, except that forums allow those with slower reflexes to join the carnage without a handicap.

Your squad is definitely one of the best I have been in. Defending is very important and it is good you are interested in it. EJOD today was a really good game where teamwork was more then points at the end for all 6 soldiers in your squad. You are using markers a lot which is very useful. I will join you again anytime.
And some criticism? Hard to find something ...
Sometimes it was hard to hear you on VOIP but it was maybe only my problem.
You can also use map grid for your orders. And do not hesitate to kick players who are ignoring orders or who are taking different kits that you need (Although I do not think there was such problem today). Sometimes are SLs too benevolent :) .

For a second there i thought the thread title was "Rape my squad" .....

anyway....I havent played in a "defence" squad that actually defended a flag or something, although i have done alot of Defence work as a lonewolf.

what do you guys think of teh =EURO= VOIP squad, we emply similar tacts to you to Gazz, that is defedning flags..

criticsm, would be that you need to kick players who dont listen to you,

Always good to see Gazz's squad taking responsibiltiy for defence. I wish more squads would!

I'm very attack/forward focused (both in PR and in football :D ) and am very good at pushing up and capping flags so that's what my squad focuses on. (And the reason I almost always kick snipers as they are useless for me) I know most people like to attack but I see a lot of squads in PR wandering around aimlessley and it's fairly frequent for my squad to cap almost flag on the map, sometimes on it's own!

Ive played in your squad quite a few times, and you do a fine job. It always makes my gaming much more fun working with an organised squad, so thanks

I love defnse squads.
If you took officer or ammo kit, you are good.
If you called suplies and arty, you are good.
However, you play on an infantry only server, and that=lame.

I think you are a good squad leader. The bad thing is that everyone seems to think that as well and if i join a server during a round your squad is full.

We changed back to armour etc the day 0.5 was released. You are maybe looking at your favourites list which doesn't update the server name?

Here's what they are at the moment:

No, but it's rocket spamming only... thats why it's no fun to play in. Hopefully they'll fix that until 0.6

Now that I played with you tonight, I can say that you're a very good squad leader and a nice person, too ;)

Yeah, had a lot of fun playing with your squad tonight. I happen to like defending quite a lot. The attack on Outpost as PLA on the forrest map was a lot of fun too though.

Was nice to see good comms from the squad leader and have a sense that he knew what was going on. Also, big thumbs up for keeping an eye on what the other squads are doing and taking that into account too.

Will join up again next time I see you on.

Remember me? Squad 4 ($)? Inshali forest? Outpost? Defending?

We should've had a commander cause the typing was quite primitive!
