Spotter Class

As the title says I was thinking a spotter class would be a great. I don't know what real spotters these days use but maybe you guys can make like a specialized scope that can sight much farther than the soflam. I don't know about most people but me and my clan use spotters all the time with tank's, apc's, sniper's, arty.
Maybe it would be something like this:
pistol
that scope thing
knife
field dressing
smoke grenades
a guliee(sp) suit also
it would be a requested kit like a pilot, or crewman.

Nice idea however with the fog on maps and view distance this prob would not be effective.
