Will the 11-87 be fixed?

Hi

I'am in the process of downloading this, what looks like a killer mod my question is this.......

While looking at the web site I see that the 11-87 shotgun in this Reality mod is a pump. Now I went round and round about this with EA to no avail so I bring it up here in a REALITY mod.

The Remington 11-87 is NOT a pump. It IS a semi-auto ! Why EA didn't just use an 870 is so beyond me. Why they chose a semi-auto and hacked the back part of of the forearm off to try to make it look like like a pump is so beyond me. So will sometime in future versions will Reality make the 11-87 what it is, a semi-auto or will it be replaced with a true pump shotgun ??

why they didnt use the Benelli M4 as the US shotgun doesnt make any sense eather, its the marines combat shotgun.

It has been stated that the M11-87 will be phased out in favor of the M1014 semiautomatic shotgun (benelli M4) for American troops in PR. If we're lucky we might see it in 0.6!

That just leaves the PLA with a trusty pump action.

Why should have PLA pump-action?
Give them SAIGA-12 - they are manufacturing them by the way.

SAIGAs are awesome shotguns...I loved the one I had.

But, at least in the past, there was a military version of the Mossberg 500 in service and, of course, the Remington 870. I've never owned a Remington 11-87, but I did own an 1100, and it was a great shotgun (won a lot of trap-shooting events as a kid with it).

But a SAIGA 12ga with the detachable box magazine and the AK-style stock/pistol grip would be awesome for PLA/MEC. Hurray for Mikhail Kalashnikov!
