Don't know how doable this is in the BF2 engine but in the old UT99 engine you could make it so that one rightclick on the mouse button brought the scope up to aim then to control your breathing you you had to press and hold the right mouse button. I found that to be very intuitive rather than have to find a separate key on the keyboard.
But, like I said initially, don't know if it can be done with this engine...

That wouldent work imo anyway, since everytime you let go of right mosue button you would unzoom?? i dont know because i dont have the game. I think your sprint key would do the job just fine then another button to zoom in and out - or even better when zoomed num pads 1-9 or anything in between can be configured so you can switch to any level of zoom at any time.

Like I said, I don't know if it can be done in the BF2 engine. BUT, if it CAN be done it would be, imho, the best solution.TerribleOne wrote:That wouldent work imo anyway, since everytime you let go of right mosue button you would unzoom?? i dont know because i dont have the game. To stay in aim mode after releasing the right mousebutton, well, there could be a timer to check how long the button has been pressed and if held for more than 0.5 seconds it will remain in aimmode after you release the right mousebutton...
I don't know... I know just about zilch when it comes to what the BF2 engine can and can not do.

Heheh, pause your breathing if you see your target ehhh ?TerribleOne wrote:Yea but set sway is not realistic at all. You would have to wait for the right moment to get your shot.
In reality once you see your target you pause your breathing until you have fired the shot!
"Oh wait i see him, aiming, aiming, 2 minutes laster you suffocate and die

You obviously misunderstood what i was saying or simply choose not to read it sensibly.
When you have your target in a position where you could take a shot, if your clear to do so you then breath in and hold until you fire the shot. Or just for you, you decide not to shoot because your too dam slow and missed the opportunity.
Hows that
Also id just like to point out you would not suffocate after 120secs unles you were severly unhealthy. 120sec is the average time a man can hold his breath. the record being 14.5minutes. Just to let you know
Just to clear an earlyer post up earlyer on also. If you hold your breath for more then 5 secs you do not begin to shake. When you hold your breath you become stable throughout until your jumping around and gasping for breath after your max
.
Infact the next time your so cold that your shivering, hold your breath and i guarantee you wil stop shivering in the time you hold your breath. Its all about prioitys and your body wont be shaking when it needs that oxygen to keep the heart going.

Sure holding your breath for 5 secs wont make you shake but long periods of time will speed up your pulse and heart rate or something like that.
Also when you hold your breath too long you wont die, youll just go incap. due to lack of oxygen but start breathing again once youre out. Something like that.

Actually your heart pulse slows down when you hold your breath.... when you hold your breath you dont tremor at all because your body reserves such actions so the oxygen can be used on vital organs. like i said.joemoemino wrote:Sure holding your breath for 5 secs wont make you shake but long periods of time will speed up your pulse and heart rate or something like that.
