'[R-MOD wrote:Mongolian_dude']So does that mean your buying the Mics for the whole community? AND paying for the language lessons that will have to be taken to use them?

im up for it in that case :)

...mongol...

Lol ... but it isnt a far fetched suggestion really, if you think about it.. most people that play speak english anyways... you dont have to talk shop unless u want to..

As for mics, they are dirt cheap :P
Ten-Four...

Why do men always try to justify death? Is it arrogance?

You live in london right, inflation aint that bad, what 3,4%?. What if you live in say Thailand where there is something crazzy like 800%?
The evidence obtained here would be that Dirt is not very cheap in Thailand :)

Anywayz....About the english/mic thing i guess*shrug*

...mongol...

well i guess if you can afford a comp you can afford a mic
(especialy at 800%:shock :)
its generally about half the squad who have a mic, and if you know em then you can form a cool squad on some nights with everyone having VOIP, youve got to play pr a bit longer and gain trust with some people, then theyll want to join your squad

i met mongol for the first time last night and hes a cool fela,so do the same, just keep playing till you meet a load of people you know have VOIP :-P

for the suggestions, nah. that is the answer lol :-P

Actually, there is a weapons system being developed right now that will give soldiers that same ability, PR is set in the future, hence the mini-map

WRT point # 4, you are paying for Battlefield 2, you are not paying for its mods, it is just from the goodness of the Dev's hearts that you get PR.

Sweet, now I guess that the mini-map isn't a load of vanilla bs anymore as I thought it was. Do you got a link to a site that would tell me about this system?

The title of this post.

The title is a screaming SERIOUS SUGGESTIONS. So at first I thought, "What the guy believes his suggestions are serious?". He might. But I can't take anyone seriously who obviously has not played enough to get over his shock of all the changes.

Friendly Fire as it stands is the result of no-coordination, not using your minimap, shooting without identification of the target, etc. Too bad you don't sit in the brig (in-game) after killing half a squad.

Whoever suggested earlier, I would not mind if the names of friendlies showed up after 4sec from 0-1m away. Although, the names could be realistic if they had a realtime overlay with built-in facial recognition... Not gonna happen...

No Kill reports - what? Huh? Ok. Wait a sec. Maybe Mr 838393 does not get the purpose of the Mod at all.

I won't comment on anything else because its obvious an RTFM is required.

alot of those suggestions sucked but sense your British i wont totally flip out because you guys are goofy.

from what i hear your biggest problem is you dont pay attention.
you like hard core tunnel vision or something,i have never once in my PR time not known when a guy has died when you shoot him. i really dont see how you can miss a guys arms and legs and body in general fly around when you shoot him and you hear his death yell, its a pretty obvious kill.

you are also missing the fact that you have a good guess of where your health is at all times, if your bleeding... your in trouble and your health is obviously low. if your not bleeding your health is fine.

late recognition is also not a problem sense all you have to do is look at there uniform, listen to there gun sound, look at there gun, look at your mini map. i RARELY TK, i tk no more in PR then i did reg BF2, you just gotta open your eyes

and kit requesting is also fine. if someone cant figure it out after asking people in the game, reading the guid that came with the game or just playing with the buttons then they are an absolute moron and should be in special ed classes, not playing games.

I'll try to get it for you, the name of it skips my mind right now, you can ask Bob_Marley though, he's bound to know it.

EDIT: Ah, here we go, its name is the "Land Warrior"

Info here: Ah ha!

and here: Here we are
