Crewman kit
Whatever happend to the:MP5, Type 85, PP-19, H&K MP-7, and P90? I believe that there needs to be a wider variety of weapons. There is no difference between the Engineer and the crewman kit besides the fact that engineers have mines and c-4 while crewman can drive vehicles, which leaves the crewman class alot more appealing. It gats kinda annoying pulling up the spawn map and seeing a bunch of M-16/AK-47/Chinese assault rifle I don't remember 's.

I agree with that idea. There has been countless times when I've ridden in a tank/apc where the driver/gunner decides to just leave it out in the open, or in a bad location so he can go fight - no problem since he has an M16. He nows he's just as deadly as a medic, but with a much, much cooler hat.
I think Crewmen should get MP5, Bizon, and that chinese SMG, 2 magazines, and a bandaid. Point is to keep them in the armor. Really sucks when an APC driver bails an APC in the line of enemy fire and start fighting on foot, instead of in the vehicle. I've seen lots of moving spawnpoints get lost that way.

The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.

erm... bump or whatever...
I would also agree with giving the crewman a SMG. It makes a lot more sense for someone that should sit in a vehicle 95% of the game time to have a PDW with him instead of a bulky rifle...
I think the Mp-7 would be a good choice for the crewman, I know SF has it but I don't know if you could use it, which would be bad due to the reloading animation... The Mp5 is a pretty impractical nowadays due to the 9mmm round it fire which just isn't powerful enough to pierce armor like, for example, the Interceptor body armor that the US is using.
Oh, and the crewman wrench works 3 times slower than the engineer's wrench+ the engineer also has C4.

Says there the Bradly only has the rear two firing ports.
I'd rather see the P90 back in service somewhere, because P90 is awesome.
It would be my sig pic but it doesn't want to show

Engineers also repair vehicles 3 times faster than crewmen.Deadmonkiefart wrote:Whatever happend to the:MP5, Type 85, PP-19, H&K MP-7, and P90? US: M4 (M4, NOT M4A1)Guerra wrote:If you ask me, I'd give crewman a submachine gun.
GB: L85A2 or L22A2 (currently the full size rifle is issued to tank crews as a general rule, but the new carbine is coming into service)
PLA: Type-05 or Type-95 rifle/carbine. Personally I've no idea what PLA tank crews are issued with
MEC: P90 (my personal choise), G3KA4 or MC-51
Going by realism the most realistic choise would be carbines for tank crews (if all tank crews were to be issued with the same sort of weapon). Personally I'd like to see a range of weapons depending on the faction. For example British tankers having full size rifles, US and the PLA having carbines, and the MEC a PDW.
But my guess (though from all the crewmen weapon topics we've had, I'd say its a pretty accurate one) we can be expecting carbines all round.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Why do people keep suggesting the P90 for the MEC? On top of why do they use German G3, why would they use a Belgian FNP90?
Besides, P90 is so totally cool. MEC is not.

Exactly . Just a little note - M4 should come with sights on carrying handle , not a reddot scope .Bob_Marley wrote: US: M4 (M4, NOT M4A1)

p/s SIMRAD or common binocullars would be fine to be added to crewman kit .
