insurgents healing
i dont know about u guys but its anoying when u r bleeding as insurgents and u cant heal ur self and there r no medics around, i saw on a program tht there were alot of reports comming out iraq that insurgents had narcotics in there blood, could this be implemented instead of a field dressing(or lack of).say they have a needle with some sort of painkiller/performance enhancing drugs that will either heal u or make u bleed alot longer and have time to get to the few medics on the map.
what do u think? is it a good idea , can it happen ?

Somebody help me jog my memory. There is one famous battle where the British Empire was crushed by african natives somewhere along the lines of 1850-1900. The reason for this was because they where outnumbered 11 to 1 (I think the natives hit them with about 10-14 000 warriors with spears and stoens) and after firing their rifles, most ammunition basically just blew up in the chamber because of overheating.
Now back to the point. It was reported that the natives before and in this battle was in a zombielike state completely fearless of their lives. Later it was discovered that they had a pouch around their neck made by their chief/medicman filled with potent stuff that could knock out a horse.
They would either smoke or sniff this pouch before battle. Basically, they where completely stoned. It was close to speed or some other upper that we have on the market today. (Completly clueless to drugs so help me out here)
It did not make them invincible, but it did make them fearless. And without fear and enemies on your land, you would have a powerfull drive to kick them out.
Come on soldiers, historicalbuffs - you know of what battle I speak of.

I think sum1 n33ds 2 use a sp311checker..
Fundamentally what makes insurgents fun is not having defibs or field dressings, they are underequipped and using equipment in ammo dumps house to house.
By the way, i thnk the evidence for the Zulus using narcotics is only a flimsy theory. I think they proved it was winnable without it.
solution to the original poster:
Create a squad, ask one of the members to me a Doctor, or stick to that class yourself and do the job like that..

In reply to Clavdivs, I imagine you probably mean the Zulu wars in southern Africa. I'm not sure about the Zombie drug stuff but the Zulu warriors were renowned for their bravery and discipline and weren't in the least bit scared of death. Apparently one Zulu king ordered some of his men to march off of a cliff, which they duly did, to demonstrate their discipline.
There's a film Zulu Dawn about the incident (rubbish film) and another one Zulu (great film) about Rourkes drift where a similarly outnumbered British unit (think it was the Welsh guards) held out.
!boring post over!

Back to the topic, I think that since insurgents can't be revived by medics, no one goes medic because its virtually a useless kit. So doctor kit for insurgent needs to be improved or insurgents should be able to be revived... I don't see what makes American troops anymore resilient than insurgents.

I always search American corpses and steal their kit if they are medics. Is it not an even more joyous time when an insurgent is revived with American technology?
The verbal brutality found on forums is often reminiscent of the physical brutality found in first person shooters, except that forums allow those with slower reflexes to join the carnage without a handicap.

Or before you get shot, you pull out a bong and take a few puffs. Then you wont take as much damage
an absolute lie !
I have done extensive field testing on this theory and it is demonstrably false !
It means the insurges have to stick together and change playing style somewhat. You need to pop up and down more so they don't get a chance to hit you more than once and the doctor has to be centrally located to serve the squad better.
It is also a great way to get feel for the game if the magic paddles were removed as so many want them to be.
Bear in mind, insurgents spawn fast, if the paddles are removed on other factions the long spawn time still applies.
I like it, it's an asymmetric balance issue and while giving insurges a med pack isn't a bad idea i don't want them to have revive power.

And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.
