tanks/boats/choppers arnt being talked about

APCs
they are really REALLY slow and lack any balls what so ever, there last gear or 2 arnt even used without the turbo. ever sense v0.5 came out the APC's have been castrated, they climb hills like a train. I know that you can hit the shift button to get a turbo boost, but maps like Jabal the APC cant make it up some of the roads unless you sit there and click the turbo button like you used to have to do in Grand Theft Auto to run forever.
the APCs speed should be like it was in v0.4 but with the speed boost, except... the speed boost would be set up like the sprint of a soldier where taping it really fast doesnt help at all.

PLANES
i dont know if this is being submitted to v0.6 or not but as of v0.5 the jets have a extremely low stall speed. its really annoying when you are in a tank and a fighter comes in at 5 mph and blows you up with his gun because he has all day to shoot you, or drops a bomb on you when he is going 5mph 2 feet above the top of the tank and is somehow able to pull up and afterburner away without any damage.
after a fighter gets below the 400 kph range it should become extremely difficult to maneuver and pull up. which would stop all the low speed bull shit that i always see. but the frog foot and A-10 should be able to go much slower then the fighters without stalling, as they have big *** wings. fighters are meant for air to air combat and dont have any business going at walking speeds 1/2 inch above the ground.

Yeah APCs need more speed, it's part of some funky stuff we are doing with the disabling system that they got slowed down. Will speed them up in a future release.

wrt planes, we have really done nothing to them as yet. Tuning the vehicles is complex and because planes are a smaller part of the mod .. with limited resources we are focussing on the more common vehicles in the mod first.

But I hold firm that planes can have a place in PR so we'll get to them.

I have a solution. Turbo boost actually doesn't mean turbo boost. It is just more GAS, not NOS. That means it should be INEXHAUSTIBLE !!!
(for those who don't understand. Of course you can run out of fuel but not in 3 seconds. If you run out of fuel you shouldn't be able to move at all.)

It's the Bradly that is badly gimped.
I thought the APC not climbing the hill at Dam from the water was deliberate and while I wasn't happy about driving all the way around I do understand the need to keep heavy vehicles on the road most of the time.
But the Bradley can barely drive on the road ......it's sad....I chant " I think I can I think I can " as I go up hills with it.

The AAVs being slow was my fault. I just forgot to update them when I updated the tanks. :p

Will be fixed in 0.6, aswell other speed and power modifications.

M1 tanks in reality must climb a 60% grade, and I'm sure the much lighter APC's should do even better. I'm not seeing anywhere near that in the mod. Speed doesn't really bother me because the maps are small enough but getting stuck when you should be able to climb right out does.

not the case as tanks have TRACKS and APCs have WHEELS, and that is the decider, traction is where its at.

you can still take the APC up that hill to damn you just have to Grand Theft Auto the turbo button the whole time.

planes arnt nearly as piss me off as the APCs are. For the planes, whenever you plan on doing there big change debut the speed should probably be looked into, ells they slow down really slow and its ridiculous looking when you see one creeping at 6 mph after a chopper and stuff.
