I use a joystick (left hand) and mouse for all movement including footslogging. (saitek x52)
The joystick allows me to move very slowly (movement detection draws the eyes) I use the thruster for helo power and bank with mouse.
I have total control over variable vehicle speeds too.
I have been playing fps for way too many years and used the keyboard, took me a lot of time to adjust to joystick for general movement but it's worth it.

By the way, pretty sure that pilot was using a mouse and keyboard. Just what I figure though. I myself find it alot easier to fly with a mouse and keyboard than a joystick.danthemanbuddy wrote:Alright after seeing that LB movie from the TG game, I decided to test my logitech wingman joystick in bf2.
