I was thinking that maybe you could put in the UH-1N Iroquois for the marines

Such as...'[R-DEV wrote:Riki_Rude_BTYC']I think it would be funny when everytime someone suggests something and we are already planning on implementing it, if every single dev in a row responded with![]()

Will it shouldn't be too hard to model the Huey, since Battlefield 2 already provides a model of the AH-1 Cobra which is basically a attack helicopter based on the AH-1 Huey. In reality it shares the same rear tail, engine, transmission, and rotor system as the Huey (not to mention a similar name).
So you guys can simply access BF2's AH-1Z Super Cobras model and take the measurements of the rear end and engine design of the Cobra and use it to design the UH-1 Huey.
Hers a comparison picture of the UH-1Y beside an AH-1W Super Cobra:

Well, to be honest even though I am a new face in the community I have played the mod for a long time and seen the players from another side to another. Some of us are active over here and another half just enjoys the game but the thing that kind of unites the players of this mod. Information and the "hunger" of it is big.
I have seen the system and public relations of this mod to work well and they tell us a lot more than many other teams with their mods. We shall be thankful of that and when we support the devs with this many ideas there are possibilities for some awesome changes between the mod and vanilla to be come.
I have only found one thing where the team could improve, you do listen us and we give you ideas but it has no deeper cooperation (or I just cant see it) which could be totally possible with some of the people who have the information and motivation for it.
This Huey is good thing where the action has happened on the both sides, lets see what happens. I wont even state how I love this mod all over the boards since it should be obvious

If you're talking about my post, incase you cant tell its referencing the Vietnam conflict period, which hueys are highly associated with (ie Victor Charles = VC = Vietcong).
I guess that in the mod they'll be using M240s rather than miniguns on most maps. As far as I'm aware miniguns arnt all that common on transport helis for regular units.
Personally I'd rather an N than a Y (as it could then also be used by the UK and MEC), but from a realism perspective as we have the AH-1Z it does make sense.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!
